Vince Corning
Founder
Prior to founding MyLinuxSupport, Mr. Corning served as the CEO of Silicon Valley Outsourcing. With over 18 years experience developing and supporting IT technology with companies such as Intel, Compaq, JetQue, Evanite Fiber Corporation. Vince has been involved in offshore outsourcing since 1995 and has extensive experience working with offshore development, market research, and call centers located in India, Ukraine, and the Philippines.
Mr. Corning served as V.P of Product Marketing and Engineering for JetQue, a provider of multimodal cell phone messaging technology. At Intel Corporation, Vince served as Director, Strategic Marketing for Intel’s Converged Communication Platform group and was the business unit sponsor for Intel Capital investments. As Co-founder of Picazo, Mr. Corning was responsible for Product Line strategy and played a key role in M&A, eventually selling Picazo to Intel.
Over the years, Vince has worked with teams developing application software, system software, computer servers, networking equipment, and telecommunications equipment. He has been directly responsible for supporting 1000 users located in 4 different states and for bringing new products to market using teams located on different continents.
